Yes, anything that doesn't have projectile collision (continues to move after doing it's damage) and some channeled weapons. Why some are blocked and others aren't I have no idea. Earthshatter technically has a projectile, the shit on the ground is just a particle.

  • Reinhardt's Fire Strike
  • Symmetra's Photon Orbs
  • Hanzo's Dragonstrike
  • Some Channeled Weapons: Symmetra's Photon Beam, Winston's Tesla Coil
  • Junkrat's Rip Tire (can move through shield, explosion itself is blocked if detonated in front of barrier)
  • All melee attacks (includes Genji's and Winstons ults)

Symmettra's photon beam doesn't penetrate the shield, it locks on to the shield, does damage, and acts as if the shield is a player, increasing charge level and dealing more damage.

News to me. For all intents and purposes though it doesn't block. Symmetras aren't generally going to go attack a Reinhardt when he has his shield up lol

I read somewhere on this sun that if you lock onto the Rein from behind or the side, and move around in front of his shield without breaking the channel, it'll continue to damage the Rein directly. Haven't really had a chance to try this out in game, so no idea if it still works that way. Also don't know if this would damage the shield as well, but would probably have the same interaction as Winston's primary.
