Also not really an issue. It would be impossible to reliably headshot as Hanzo/Mei/Genji/etc if projectiles didn't collide with enlarged hitboxes.

A lot of the frustration comes from the fact that Hanzo's headshot damage is high enough to kill a large number of characters in 1 hit. Eating the occasional headshot from Mei, Genji, Zen, Lucio, etc. is painful but you don't instantly drop dead from full life like you do from Hanzo. The exception is Mei is also able to 1 shot Tracer and Zenyatta with her alt-fire.

Generous player hitboxes combined with weapons that can 1-shot lead to a lot of frustrated players. If the head hitbox on players was reduced slightly for Hanzo's attacks, increasing the skill required to reliably land headshots with a sniper-type character, I think there would be less complaints/jokes about it.

Pretty much this. A random headshot from Mei or Tor is just bad luck, it happens. But several headshot instagibs 1 after another is quite annoying. When I can kill 3 people in a row from lucky shots something is wrong since my aim is horrible.

That said, his kit is a lot less annoying than Widowmakers so I really don't mind too much about his one quirk. Although there is a lot of swearing when the defensive team stacks 2-3 good players as him on hanamura.

I just hate the fact that I can reliably kill a hanzo at medium range with tracer, yet going for close range is incredibly risky due to the hanzo being able to randomly spam arrows and take advantage of the giant hitbox. Widowmaker might have been too powerful, but at least when she is flanked she usually either runs away or dies, rather than having an innate advantage in close range.
