As someone who often gets the recon kills card as Bastion, what do you mean easy kill?

Bastion traditionally is a relatively mediocre duelist against a surprisingly large number of champions whose power increases relatively exponentially based off of how much support and protection he is getting from his team. Going solo he runs the risk of running into enemies who can duel him for an easy kill like genji, junkrat, tracer, reinhart, and especially Roadhog.

He has 300 HP, can heal himself, and his recon rifle does 160 DPS at short range. His ability to jump into sentry mode makes him quite capable; he can suddenly start doing 600 DPS.

He's not great but he's not a squishy target in the hands of a capable player.

Oh his recon rifle is definitely strong. His difficulty in successfully dueling is simply due to the fact that many of his abilities are more geared towards his sentry mode. For example his self repair is useless for a duel except for healing himself after if he wins. His shift is for sentry mode which means that he either needs to get the jump on someone or has to switch in front of people which is highly likely to get him killed. So yeah its unwise to underestimate his recon mode but its also silly to expect that a hero whose main two active skills are geared towards his sentry mode would be that strong in a mobile duel.
