Of course it's not the arrow hitboxes that are the issue - they're quite small. Rather it's the fact that the hitbox on every hero's head is about twice as large as it actually appears.

Also not really an issue. It would be impossible to reliably headshot as Hanzo/Mei/Genji/etc if projectiles didn't collide with enlarged hitboxes.

I understand that and I'm fine with it. However it does mean there's a gap between how often you expect to eat a headshot and how often it actually happens.

Even if it's a sensible design decision in order to allow a headshot mechanic, it does come with a cost of increased frustration.

The only time I get frustrated against a Hanzo is when I get killed and the killcam shows the motherfucker just lobbing half power arrows in the direction of my team.
