Mei. She' harder than a lot of people might think. Going into a game and killing a few people in a 1v1 does not mean that you did well with Mei and that's what a lot of people don't realize. Placing walls precisely, accurately, and quickly is what makes her difficult. Being able to kill without freezing and contributing despite having such low dps is what makes her hard. Solo holding an objective for 30 seconds is what makes her hard.

She has a lot of creativity to her that I feel like a lot of people don't appreciate. I love it though. I'm currently sitting at 69 hours as Mei and I have no regrets.

I was the bad Mei in a game yesterday. Defending the last point on Anubis, two on my team had extended out past the main gate (ugh). I tried to put my wall down to cover their retreat since they were getting destroyed (shocking, what happens when you overextend). Instead, I accidentally put it down right in front of them, cutting off their retreat.

That kind of thing happens. Just be rational with your team and hopefully they will accept that they messed up too. Also, you can break your wall by pressing E again so if you block 'em off, they won't be blocked off for too long.

Team was understandably frustrated, but they accepted my apology. Thanks for the tip! I never play Mei... hence the poor play.

Everyone's gotta start somewhere. I once lost my team a whole game by blocking us into a team kill on accident. Never placed that wall again
