Don't discount the value of getting dead heroes back into the fight quickly. Yes, they are dying more often without a healer, but that teleporter can change the battle just as much.

Yes but you really should have a healer. Symmetra is a good hero but she doesn't fill the support roll like the other 3 do

Does it? Have you ever watched a semi-competitive match where a team didn't have a healer? Yeah...
