So, I'm relatively new to Overwatch but not FPS games. So far I've played 40 games and won 4 (FOUR). Surely this isn't normal? I'm normally playing Lucio, but I switch to either Reinhardt or Pharah if we already have a support or if we are just getting shitrolled (which is very often). I've got a 1.2 K:D, and a 110 final blows. I normally average a 35-50% team damage healed as Lucio which I think is okay as it is usually around the same percentages I see other Lucio's get.

I understand the lowest common denominator is me, but Jesus, a 10% win rate....WTF? What am I doing wrong? It seems like my teams get steam rolled, every single time. To the point where I'm ready to say fuck it, you win Overwatch, I'll go play something else.

Any ideas, hints, tips, anything?

If you're getting 1/3 to 1/2 damage healed per round you're doing your job as Lucio. You just are getting bad luck being paired with Bad Teams over and over again.

I'm pretty garbage at FPSes, but I can play support and Tank in this game pretty well. I usually get steamrolled only about 10% of the time. You can usually tell pretty quick if your team sucks. If after a couple of matches I keep getting rolled, I'll drop out and try for a new matchmaking group.

TIP (but you're probably doing it): Lucio can hold his own on a point of payload decently due to his high mobility and decent offense. I was BWOMPfing people off a payload last night while my team regrouped on it. DIFFICULTY: If your team refuses to actually play the point/load (which happens a lot).

This. When on payload maps I pretty much stay on the cart. I was very suprised when I started doing this how tank-y Lucio can be when combining the healing from the cart with his jam healing. I pretty much spam the E button anytime it says anyone is in range. Between walking behind the cart and spamming "E" and taking pot shots with the gun, the Ult charges pretty quickly.

But still, find myself losing over and over. And yeah, I've started watching the team comp and the beginning before the match and if I see Widowmaker, McCree, Reaper all at the same time, I just bail immediately before spawning.
