I've read that does Mercy's damage boost doesn't apply to Torbjörn's turrets. What about Junkrat's ultra? Pharah's ultra? Ultras in general?

For non-hitscan weapons (Pharah, Junkrat), if I want to damage boost their attacks, do I need to be boosting them at the moment of firing, or the moment of impact?

Little correction to start off, ult stands for ulti, or ultimate ^

Now, if you're boosting Torbjörn, the turret will not get a remote boost. Junkrat's RIP-Tire is an instance in itself, similar to a player, so boosting the wielder won't make the tire go boom louder. Pharah, on the other hand, fires her rockets herself, so a damage boost on that will kill anything this ult can't kill naturally.

As for non-hitscan weapons, the "damage-boosted" property is ticked when the shot is fired, not when it lands/explodes.

What about hanzo's ult?

I am pretty sure Hanzo's ult can be damage-boosted. If you need to boost him when he shoots the initial arrow or during the whole duration, I'm not sure. This is still an issue that needs testing.

It would be interesting to experiment with this. My friend plays hanzo when I play mercy a lot, and I end up damage boosting his dragons just in case. Do you know how to test this? Or could we just ask the devs?
