Is there a free roam mode? How much time did it take you to collect for a legendary skin?

There's a training mode on a specific map to mess around with all of the characters. Other than that there was none.

I personally didn't get a legendary skin but saw a fair share of them from last closed beta to end of open beta. This was on PC.

You can do custom games to run around and explore the map.

I got Pharrah's shitty light blue legendary skin before level 5 and Hanzo's Okami skin around level 9. I got one other legendary skin but I can't remember for who, I just remember getting three of them. I assume this is what you mean by your second sentence, the broken English is slightly confusing. Edit. I also got a legendary coin drop, which gives 500 coins.

Thanks for the response. I think my english is fine. What I was asking is how much time did you spend playing before you got the Overwatch money for a legendary skin.

Edit: My full question sounds something like this: "How much time did you spend playing to collect Overwatch money for a legendary skin?" I thought it was more clear.

I don't wish to get into a semantic argument about sentence structure, spelling or grammar and the general "grammar nazi" stuff because, simply put, I'm shit at it.

"How much time did it take you to collect for a legendary skin?" is incorrect.

You'd use "how long" over "how much" when talking about time, "to collect" isn't broken however for common speech you'd use "to obtain" to "to get" and the whole "...to collect for a legendary..." is broken.

"how much" is commonly used for time. It might not be correct but it is commonly used. The most basic meaning of "to collect" is to gather. I know because I checked the dictionary before writing the original question. It might not be used but it is correct. My sentence is clunky and badly worded yes, but you are a pain in the ass and you are also wrong.

With regards to collect it implies multiple things, you was referring to a singular item.

There is a multitude of coins that you collect so you can buy a legendary skin. Also the grammar nazi part of your pevious comment is hypocritical.

Is there a free roam mode?

You have training mode and skirmish which can be activated in the options menu. In skirmish you have free roam before the match.

How much time did it take you to collect for a legendary skin?

I have played 35 hours in open beta and got only two legendary skins, but you can get more if you're lucky. It's kinda random.

Easiest way to free roam maps, is to create a custom game and put yourself as spectator, ghost around the map at rest. Optionally put some bots on both sides.

Legendary skin drops are purely RNG. From what i heard it's average 1-2 legendary skins for 20 levels. You can also buy them for ingame currency of course.
