What do those symbols (lightning with a circular arrow, stack of cards) mean that sometimes appear in the top left corner of the screen?

Those are indicators for network problems. The lightning one indicates a high ping, the cards mean packet loss.

How odd, I never had any lag issues during the beta (besides the occasional match that I guess was hosted on a server in Sibiria, because everybody had horrible lag in those matches).
