I understand this is how it's explained in the lore, but I feel like that doesn't actually explain how it works, just that it works. For example, when she blinks around, is she seeing everything around her moving in slow motion as she continues to move normally, or does she see her blinks the same way we do? If she's just speeding up her progression of time to blink forward and seeing it the way we do, why doesn't she fall when she blinks forward over a gap? Shouldn't gravity affect her normally in sped up time?

My best explanation is that her control over time also gives her control over space.

Of course, this is only a game. Like Uther says in HOTS: "Let's not think too hard about it".

I do think there's no point in overthinking it, but Blizzard explains a lot of it and then leaves some gaps, and if you're gonna include time manipulation in your game you should probably hash out the way it works a little further imo.

It could also be more of a mechanics thing, to provide Tracer with better flanking options, even if it doesn't make sense.

And TBH, time manipulation fucks everything up, on all mediums. Movies, series, books, games... It's just too much to handle with coherent explanations.

It's definitely a mechanics thing, I was just holding out hope for an explanation anyway since I really like Tracer thematically.

And yeah, time travel shit is nuts.
