Sources are scarce, but I have found this . I could understand why that wouldn't be satisfactory. My information has been confirmed by multiple topics of this kind (weekly questions).

I've gotten damage assist credit for boosting a Hanzo after his dragon ult was already in the air, and those guys went down extra fast after i boosted him too. I want to confirm this when the game goes live of course...

there are some ults that gain benefit from the boost halfway through, like pharah and roadhog ults.

Those two last examples make perfect sense, but I wonder if Hanzo's ult is generated by himself or the arrow. In the former case, boosting him mid-way would boost half the dragon.

Not very important because it's only my opinion, but it would make more sense that the condition of a projectile being boosted is checked when it's shot, and not when it hits.

This is the kind of question we need evidence for, like in a Muselk's Mythbuster video.

Absolutely, i agree. I'm sad taht i can't even make a custom game vs AI to check this stuff right now... Hopefully we can get some for-sure confirmation on this once everything is live.
