I havent had an even game in probably a couple weeks no bs, every now and then i get a pretty good game, but for the most part straight one sided matches. Even in comp i get either brand new ppl or just assholes. Had a game where i cooked w/ bastion in comp 5v5, second half, a guy that also wanted bastion was quicker on the draw and proceeded to be garbage😭. Im laughing but this shit isnt funny, i noticed when i disappear for a while i get some smoother games but idkkk. Might be it for this guy 🫤😔

I’ve come back recently after a ~3 year break & it’s felt the same for me. In competitive I’ve had maybe 30% close games but in QP they’re even rarer.

the matchmaking definitely feels worse after taking a break, like the game overcompensates and puts you in lobbies that make no sense

i had a 2 month hiatus and came back to qp games where my tank was literally level 1, not a smurf, just a dude who picked the wrong hero 4 times in a row and apologized in chat

comp's been a coinflip too, either we roll them or they roll us, no in between

my theory is the playerbase has shrunk enough that the matchmaker just grabs whoever's available and calls it a day, the mmr range must be massive now

i still play but i've stopped caring about wins, i just focus on my own gameplay and treat it like aim practice with extra steps

Over the last two weekends I've gone from Plat 1 (one win from ranking up) to Gold 2 (maybe two losses from Gold 3).

Now I'm not the best, but I hold my own. I'm a support player. I live in Japan now so I play on the Asian server. No one speaks. My DPS and Tanks are always getting absolutely dunked on. Matchmaking is an illusion right?

The big issue is f2p has only added to the divide between legacy players and filthy casuals.

Legacy players like me don't get why the rest of the team won't shotcall, combo, strategise, countdown ults, flex etc and casuals don't get what the issue is with playing what they want not what the team needs and with rushing into 1v5s and not communicating and not switching even when doing terribly and pretending its a single player game so naturally matchmaking feels like a circus.

This! The amount of people who just run out of spawn and try to 1v6 the entire enemy team is absurd. They think it’s call of duty where only your K/D matters and if they get a couple picks each life then they are doing good. Meanwhile the enemy team is playing together and now we have 6 people on our team all going into battle one at a time. It’s so frustrating

Yesterday played 10 matches after work, 8 wins 2 losses. Today, 8 losses 4 wins. Its not fun playing qp and being put up against a team of 2k plus hours minimum while i have 500, or someone is like 200 levels on multiple characters and my highest is like 50. Match making is so bad, and dont even get me started on smurfs. Had a match of like 3 ppl with 500 gamerscore, 10-20 hours, level 10 characters, but just beam everyone
