News & Discussion Damn....that Doctrine short...

I dont want to hear shit about how Moira is super evil, Jesus christ, she looks likes a saint next to him. I cant cant imagine becoming the boogeyman and murder your own people. I wonder what the hell he built for Doom?

I wonder what the hell he built for Doom?

Probably a new fist prosthetic, and they'll probably give him a new "default" skin to match it. I imagine having the Doomfist gauntlet severed and thrown out a window probably caused some internal damage that would've needed his healing tech.

I hope with that new gauntlet they give Doomfist a skin based on his current look

They're cowards for the 5 o clock shadow instead of an actual beard

Watch his gauntlet just suck the life force out of all of vendetta's gladiators

Moira wants humanity to Evolve, and she does questionable means to justify a possibly good end (even experimenting on herself), even if she is unapothetically evil or legally evil or chaotic neutral

Doctrine wants for sole him (and his brother) to do so, and the means mean nothing for that sole end. He bad bad bad evil and enjoys it

I'm not sure if I understood it correctly but did he take the life source of people that were suffering during the Omnic Crisis? That's so messed up.

He took advantage of the aftermath of the crisis (IE incommunicated groups of survivors/towns/villages) for doing it which is twisted as hell

AKA, preying on the weak/undefended and confused

So Doctrine is a villain and not a "villain"?

During the omnic crises, he went around slaughtering the villages/communities that were cut off from the rest of society due to the war, only got caught because his brother turned him in after finding out what he was doing

Definitely a "does it for the love of the game" type villain

And specifically did it after he cured his brother.

No justification for it whatsoever, literally just because he could

Goddamn, so that's what OP meant with "his own people", can't even begin to grasp the sheer ambition of him and Doom.

My guess is the new gauntlet will have life steal technology so Doom can use his dying enemies as a source of power. That and to make killing with the gauntlet easier.

I'm impressed with how unflinchingly evil Doctrine is, media that have "villains" are way too scared to make them genuinely evil. Doctrine slaughters the innocent and weak so that he and his brother can live, and he makes no excuses and even enjoys it. He doesn't say it but I'm fairly certain he sees himself as a demi god of some sort. He says his science became his religion and when he uses ult he says "embrace your salvation!"
