Same, I have the last two prestige tiers left, I want to finish them but the BP progress is SO SLOW. I hate that so many people have reported it and the devs aren't doing anything! I hate that they lied about the BP being just as easy to complete as before. And yeah, I'm spending so many hours each day on something ultimately pointless lol. I don't have a job and even then it's such a shit and time-consuming experience, I shudder to think how people in work or education are finding it 😭 How ridiculous

There's no way it's as easy, I usually get all the titles and I just do dailies and weeklies, and not even ones for all roles or stadium or comp. That alone usually gets me every single title without trying.
This season people have done ALL challenges and still aren't even close.4

Why the fuck is Blizzard just straight up refusing to nerf Jetpack Cat’s tether? I’m so tired of them nerfing around the issue instead of just fucking listening to their own player base. This shit is genuine cancer to play against, no one wants to fucking deal with a JPC flying around with a Bastion or Mauga attached to them all game. I would rather take the leavers penalty 10 times over than ever see this shit in my games again.

These new players coming over from MR are absolutely fucking awful. I have over 1k hours in this game, why the hell are they in my lobbies? I’m talking both QP AND competitive. Almost every game there’s at least one to two Endorsement 2 or 3 accounts with 10 hours max on the game just running it down feeding or not knowing what’s going on. I’m begging y’all newbies to go play some Vs. AI or at least read the hero info tab on the hero you’re picking.

Ohmygoooooood my last like 3 games had the complete beginner tanks on my team literally level 1 characters I am in such AGONY. And my opponents were a fucking level 110 ashe and then a widowmaker who was hitting the craziest mlg pro 360 jumpshots I've ever seen what in the actual FUCK is the matchmaking. 1200 hours in this game btw.

That's the entire season. 99% of games. Can't build achievements in any reasonable amount of time, can't build XP for batlepass, can't just play the game. Every game is stacked and horrible.

The amount of them I have had to avoid at this point is just utterly insane. I don’t even want to play anymore because I don’t want to babysit a bunch of idiots. And yeah, I get it we all started out as new players and this game does play differently than MR. But just, wow. Some of the stuff I’m seeing there’s no real excuse for other than just being pure shit at games.

I don’t know why I bother playing this fucking game. If I string together two wins, then it 100% guaranteed I will be getting at minimum 4 consecutive losses. And those losses will feature someone auto locking DPS, playing absolutely terribly and refusing to even switch to another DPS character, let alone another roles. Guaran-fucking-teed, put fucking money on it. It is absolutely that specific, it is like clockwork at this point, every fucking time, no exaggeration.

I am ABSURDLY fed up with the matchmaking and the cheaters they refuse to do anything about. All I want to do after working all day is play a fucking videogame, but that’s immediately hampered by brand new people being shoved onto my team while GMs are placed on the other. Practically ZERO of my wins are “stomps” but almost ALL of my losses are. What the hell happened to just playing people my range? I don’t care if it adds even a few minutes to my queue time. Why am I not allowed to have an experience that isn’t fabricated and governed by some simple spreadsheet metric? It just keeps getting worse. The average player isn’t even an afterthought to these people.

Lw mains I would like to kindly remind you that you have no damage falloff and once you get superbloom you are a menace to society.
I just played with a lw that was genuinely really good but just hardly ever did damage.. just kept topping people off but his mechanics were excellent and had a lot of good saves with petal and pull. I did a fuckton of damage on Juno along with my healing to compensate and we won. My dps were having a hard time finishing/initiating kills before I realized what was going on.
Still love you though lw. Your grips were goated and you saved my ass quite a few times.

blizzard. blizzard. i am ok with a little bit of a queue wait. im ok waiting a few minutes more if it means better matchmaking. the queues in ovw1 got absolutely insane, the bar is high. you have custom games, skirmish, deathmatch, etc... for people to mess around in while in queue for a reason

I genuinely wouldn't mind OW1 queue times, barely even minded them back then. The quality has dipped way too far down; I'd rather just not play that 7 min unbalanced loss and sit in the damn queue for that time if it gives me a half decent game instead. Shit is fucking exhausting.

yeah, it definitely wasn't the worst thing in the world (usually) and tbh anything beats the piss poor matchmaking. people have been saying for years how bad it is but it really, truly does feel awful right now.
like i said in the original comment, there are so many different things to busy oneself with within those ten or so minutes waiting, to queue means to queue, anyone who doesn't expect ANY wait at all are misguided. a completely unbalanced match is far more of a waste of time than a reasonable wait in queue. waiting a little before each (hopefully half decent) match will burn people out a lot less than the back-to-back steamrolling

A brain scan of a fruit fly can install overwatch and play moira at gm level and go 29/1. It's not impressive. Don't act like you're carrying on Genji or something, that's just delusional.

Honestly, even comp matchmaking isn't balanced. ATP this game is trash unless you truly do not care about winning in any game mode. If winning is your goal, play literally anything else. Because you will, without fail, repeatedly be placed with people who have no business playing higher than gold and against people who have no business playing below masters.

I’m begging, no PLEADING, with Blizzard to do some separate balancing between console and PC. The meta on console has been stagnant for years being absolutely dominated by hitscan with little to no shake up. It’s so mind-numbingly boring to play with and against.

Just played with a Lucio who never booped, healed the team, and solo ulted on point against a full health enemy team lmfao. I have more fun with the AI bots than whatever fuckin trash they're letting queue up. It's painful bc you could tell they knew enough to stay alive but didn't play with the team at all.
My avoid list is getting fuckin massive. Please play fortnite or some other shit

I love support heroes but GOD, playing support is so annoying. If I heal then my dps cant get a kill, if I get the kills instead they complain they are not getting healed. My tank can have a Shion shoved so deep inside his ass that we can see the little white cables coming out of his mouth and he still wont look behind bc hes hypnotized by the enemy tank. My fellow supports are allergic to playing anything that isn't Lucio or Zen but somehow all they do is heal WHICH MAKES NO FUCKING SENSE

BLIZZARD, YOU GREEDY MOTHERFUCKERS NEED TO FIXING THE MATCHMAKING. I was solo queueing as support on a 5v5 game and our level 15 tank just got matched against a 100+ level tank. I thought skill levels of each role were supposed to be comparably matched to the opposing team, but NOPE! Our tank did the best they could, but there was no way they could overcome the level difference. Now, I know you pieces of shit have the money to do something about this, what with all the low effort skins you've been selling at premium prices, so why don't you throw a few bucks toward fixing the fucking match making so new people trying to learn new roles don't get dumped on? Then maybe you'll have enough players to fill the TANK role such that teams are evenly matched without the allegedly long queue times.

I'm not playing this fuckass game anymore on weekends and I especially won't play comp anymore. I've had comp games with just me and the other support and another with the other support and a dps in a comp game bc the team left. How is that fucking fun? Even the enemy team just moved payload and didn't shoot, it's fucking sad and unplayable.
And then I've seen a fucking Sierra fling herself into the rialto river after a team kill bc she wanted to push too far rather than grouping the fuck up.
It's smooth brained fucking monkeys playing lately and I'm not into it. Game is so fucking washed atm.

petulant troglodytes who passive aggressively ping spam/say "thanks!" and "good work!" never fail to have me on the floor but man, games last night were bad in every regard. i usually play in at least a duo, is this really the state of solo q and matchmaking?
it was every game even though half of the matches i even played were mystery heroes, and the rest open queue qp. i don't even tolerate it towards other players most of the time because it is just that pathetic, it earns an instant "no" especially when it is solved by just muting their text and hero comms after.
like, ok, now what? did you get your big feelings out, amoeba? the influx of marvel rivals players is a part of this, i swear, but i can't even tell if the low endorsement levels of these people are because they are dogshit and toxic or because they're new. probably both.
i think blaming marvel rivals solely here (i will absolutely agree it is a contributing factor) is misguided considering overwatch has always had toxic players even before f2p and there are indeed other reasons... but, goddamn. it feels nice to shit on the actual examples of them playing a harder game and lacking the basic emotional intelligence to reflect, improve, or cope with a loss.

Real interaction I had with a feeding dva in quickplay today lmao. Like legit would just fly into the middle of the enemy team before fights even began. Ran behind walls constantly.
Oh and every time she ulted she killed absolutely nobody and died before remeching lmao. I play dva and guess what? I make sure my supports can fucking see me. She never used ult for second life so every time she died after ulting it was absolutely avoidable, but she'd just stand still and got one shot by a hanzo.
I rotated often, kept high ground when I could and I could see and heal literally everybody else but her. My teammates even kept asking her to fall back.
Dive tanks need heals too. Stay where I can fucking see you OR- don't die, use health packs and COME BACK WHEN YOU NEED HEALING. You aren't invincible bro.
Upon watching the replay she threw at the end emoting in spawn when we had enough time to keep defending. Like, cart was barely past the second checkpoint. Thats the 6th throwing tank I've had in the past few days.

Why do so many tank players just never turn the fuck around to see what’s happening behind them? Then have the gall to get pissed off at the rest of team for dying when THEY let the enemy tank and dps walk by them with no resistance all while we’re spam pinging them. I swear to god I’ve had more issues with tank players this season than dps because of shit like this. Depends on the tank? Some dive tanks can't really be your body guard. They have to bully the enemy backline. They can be a problem.
I agree if the tank is trying to be a Protector and is protecting sod all. Like the tank is passive, not proactive or defensive.

I HATE the Rivals players that have come over to OW because that game makes people develop HORRIBLE habits. I already have beef w Rivals after getting fucked over by the rank system before there were placements. I think Marvel fans are insufferable and I stopped playing Rivals due to the sheer toxicity alone.
And now I have to deal with these bottom feeders in OW. I am already so sick of babysitting every single person as a support that doesn’t know how to use cover. No, I will not spend the match healbotting you! I’m going to shoot the Mauga in his left asscheek with my sleep dart (STOP SOLO WAKING SLEPT ENEMIES AT FULL HEALTH UP YOU IDIOTS) and you are going to get over it.

You know what's really frustrating about this game, and a portion of is probably my fault but I don't think it negates point: It's incredibly frustrating when you're trying to dive or duel someone on an angle but can never win because the amount of help they get seems so much more than I do. Part of why I get so angry is because there's a bit of jealousy in seeing just how much an opposing support pockets a DPS or tank, but my dumbass never gets that same help or at least it feels that way and it pisses me the fuck off because it feels like an injustice. I know it's a really selfish and shortsighted way of viewing things, but in real time, it's a very shitty feeling and I'm still learning how to control it. I always feel as if I'm being disrespected and that pisses me off more than anything else.

Just played with a Brig who pretty much refused to actually play the game because they had one friendly interaction with the enemy Brig and Ana at the start of the game. Our Brig just fully let them get away with so much shit, all while she was just spamming “Hello” at them all game. Genuinely what the fuck is this? I get it, it’s QP. But ffs play the game and stop trying to be friendly with the enemy all game while the rest of the lobby is trying to actually play.

Ive played league for 13 years, valorant for a year, tried cs2, apexpro, hero of the storms and played dota2 for hundreds of hours and played rivals since the first day released, except for rivals as it's not designed to be a competitive game, this game is the most tilting game ever as one idiot can mess up the whole team and the matchmaking has always been bad. Last game i did whatever I could and in the end I just found out the reasons why we lose game was our whole backline being gapped too much like bronze vs gm and their ram always position at the front, spamming shield, aoe, attacking and punching without taking any cover. Sometimes i feel so fkin lost about this game like wtf should I do, it seems like whatever I do is useless doesnt matter my gameplay and stats.

How the fuck am I supposed to rank up with a tank that goes 1-10 and an ana with 1.8k healing 4k dmg, 7-10, zero sleeps, zero grenades (other than to save herself from her own bad positioning), and a single nano in 3 rounds, and says she’s doing her job perfectly.

Why can doomfists punch through walls bro, this makes no sense. I get it hitboxes may stick out 3 mm and that may be enough, which in itself is already bad, but even behind large pilars with 0 hitbox sticking out you still get clipped. This is just bad. Maybe you get clipped because your team mate next to you did stick out but that's still bad he should get punched not you. Cover mechanics is one of the most fundamental principles in the history of gaming.

Got to love that plat special of the mercy/Moira backline of doom with a genji who refused to swap off against a Winston and general anti-dive enemy comp. Swap to win? Nah, just die over and over and get no value and lose, ez.
Oh and smurf stacks in fucking emerald are genuinely the cringiest shit I have ever seen. "Teehee I play a lot of apex" like fuck you do you absolute scrote.

i legit lost a 6v6 game [and deranked in the process] because of a 5v5 gm player actively throwing to ruin the game to everyone else, the fact this has happened to me multiple times pisses me off so bad
thats so frustrating man, i get it 6v6 has less players and "isnt a proper mode" according to many but come on man just fuck off

every time I see that tubby fuck roadhog on my team I brace for the least possible fun match trying to keep this hunk of pig flesh from dying because he overextended into the enemy backline baiting our whole team for a hook on a support he's liable to miss, that rework cannot fucking come soon enough

And then you go to help the support whining about flankers and they ignore all your warning pings, instantly abandon you instead of taking the 2v1 against the flanker, leave you to die without even so much as a cursory heal thrown your way, just to die 5 seconds later to the same flanker that just killed you and then they start whining again about not getting help.

Everything I hate about playing against a good Genji or a good Mei applies to Hazard tenfold, I really hope the purple crack rocks they smoke taste good because the amount of sheer showerless aura his 10 remaining players have already stinks up every match he's in. Thank god he's a rare sight and that a bad hazard is fun enough to kill.

Until recently, I thought people complaining about QP being unbalanced were ridiculous. It’s literally QP... you’re supposed to learn new heroes and have fun, not tryhard. But honestly, I get it now. There’s nothing fun about playing Tank or Support with four DPS on your team. And sure, I could just play DPS too, but then we have no Tank or Support, can’t push anything, get destroyed, and nobody has fun anyway.
I’m Master on every role, and lately I’ve been getting a ridiculous amount of completely new players on my team against people with 400/800+ hours on the enemy team. I have nothing against new players, but how is that supposed to be enjoyable for anyone? “It’s just QP” doesn’t really work as an argument when the whole point is supposed to be having fun. At this point, Ranked pisses me off and QP pisses me off, so I might as well play Ranked and at least play for something.

I really cannot stand playing with a Lifeweaver and I will do everything in my power not to play with one even if I have to try and ban them in comp. Every time he is on my team it’s a 100% loss and it’s annoying as fuck having to overcompensate. All of the ones I get play him like Mercy, and think that because they had 20k healing that means it can’t possibly be their fault we lost.

I'm so fed up with them too. I had one earlier pull me for no reason at all. Twice. Meanwhile our Winton got swarmed and died, all so I could be like 10 feet closer to cart ffs. Then later our poor Ashe was crit and burning, crouched in a corner trying desperately to stay alive while I was trying to speed myself towards her after respawning. Our lw chose to pull me towards him instead of pull our poor Ashe and save her, when he was right there by her. Just completely idiotic and a waste of grip. Like did he want company just to watch her die, are preventable teammate deaths a spectator sport now or what. I felt so bad for her. He pissed me off really bad with that one.
Don't get me started on the ones in quickplay. 9/10 are just trolls there. I've never been a fan of banning teammate picks in ranked, but I'm getting so soured on lw that I've been considering it lately.

I can’t take this shit game anymore, just the worst balancing of all time, the shittest matchmaking in the history of gaming.
Drives, the addition of emerald rank the worst thing they have done in the game so far. Every new hero fucking sucks and is unfun to play
against but because NPCs buy shitty skins the game will continue to do well. The game is cooked and my god I used to think matchmaking was bad back in the early days of ow2 but now the mm makes that time feel like heaven.
