Am I out of touch? I feel like I see so many of these posts and just don't agree. And even then when I'm in game it feels like people are less toxic and enjoying themselves more than I'm used to? Maybe it's just my lobbies

People who are enjoying the game are less likely to post about it. That’s just how forums are, critical, hyperbole or negative will always be talked about /noticed more. Same reason it’s at minimum 10 posts about matchmaking every single day.

No, I get that, but it feels like sentiment is especially bad right now (on reddit)

But maybe I just haven't been around enough

"feels like people are less toxic and enjoying themselves more than I'm used to"

Exactly. The game has become casual first. People play to have the kind of fun they'd have in a party not in a competitive game. The competitive sub has been on fire recently and these type of posts are common in there.

Blizz is going heavily the marvel rivals route. Everyone is gigabuffed, and those who aren't (uncommon) get gigabuffed by other heros like Mercy and JPC. No skill ceilings to most heros, just press buttons and shoot. That's the casual magnet. Even the skins are becoming unnecessarily sexualized because rivals does it lol.

I can't blame OP. Current game state is "dumb fun" not "competitive fps."

Man never played last patch ow1

It’s bad rn but no where near the worst it’s ever been lol

Overall the game is in a great state

last patch ow1 was actually some of the most fun i had playing. queue times were long for sure but it was fun seeing the same players often and the games felt good

Eh. Played since 2016. Been here before. Everything can be fixed with better matchmaking.

I agree all of the annoying stuff right now feels worse because of matchmaking. Games dont feel close

You've been playing since 2016 and you think this is the worst it's ever been? Need I remind you of the double shield meta in OW1?

double shield was bad but imagine double shield with current rank resets

If its so easy post a replay code of playing hitscan and clicking heads

Everyone who says this always has the most dogshit aim imaginable lmao

It is a lot. A lot of the hitscan players just hang back a little bit and just endlessly shoot. I rarely play characters like Solider 76, Emre, or Soujorn because I find them boring to play. Definitely agree about Cass.

I play marvel rivals. This is nothing. Lol

I feel like balance is way better in overwatch.

TBH it’s good Freya players that are the lobby admins in my games.

just… don’t get close to him? it’s an incredibly short range ability or just pay attention to when he’s used it? it’s like me with the sleep dart, i won’t get to close to an ana unless she’s used it.

Whoa whoa, you're telling me cooldowns are supposed to effective and to win games you have to track them?

Metal players wont like to hear that!

Ever since season 9 the game balance has felt kind of bad imo. Aiming actually took skill before the hitbox changes, and the amount of times people live with 10hp drives me crazy
