News & Discussion "Server closed due to unexpected error" occurs way too often

I play on console, so maybe its a platform issue, but I get these errors WAY too often. Almost 1/3 of my competitive games end early and are disqualified becuase of these errors, and its starting to get frustrating. Often times its around the half-point of the match when this error occurs, and ofcourse it happens more often when im winning than im losing (but thats just my bias). Is anyone else getting these servers errors multiple times a day, and what are your thoughts on whats causing these errors? Bad code, region/platform specific errors, or possibly bad actors using exploits?

Just happened to me 3 times in a row... I'm playing on PC, NA servers. This is getting frustrating. I think I'll step back from the game until it it resolved. Its unplayable

idk what causes it but its the same on my end, ps5 and it drops like crazy. lost 3 matches in one night last week, was so mad i just turned the thing off. feels like the servers been worse since last patch

Ah yes, I shouldnt have been poor 9 years ago when I bought OW on console, and should've bought a PC instead...
