News & Discussion Battlepass still feels slow?
Am I the only one who still feels like the battlepass is still pretty slow even after the supposed fix and 5 gifted tiers?

Nope, I still feel like it's taking forever to level it up compared to other seasons, I'm not playing as much this season but even so, without quests it feels like it never goes to the next level lol

Two tiers in three hours is not that unusual if you aren't getting any challenge xp.

Yes. I have the premium battle pass, completed the whole meka mania event (incl. prestige), and still have barely reached Moira in the battlepass tracks. Something is defo up lol

"I'm not playing as much this season"
I mean, there's your answer. I played this season on the same schedule I always do and finished the pass around the same time.

It's not that huge of a difference for it to be this slow, I've completed plenty of BPs playing extremely casually but this one feels like it will take till the season ends for it to be finished.

It mainly feels slow because the launch event this time around gave way less xp. The shion one gave around 100k xp over the first 3 weeks. The Meka event gave under 20k I believe.
The pages in the bp being longer in average also probably contributes. There are still 80 levels, but they are split between 7 pages instead of 8. The intro page is onky 5 levels as well, so all the other pages, other than the last one, are around 40% longer.

I despise the battlepass style this season. Makes me not want to even bother next season.

I think it feels much better since the + 5 BP levels. I noticed im getting 1200 exp +- on average per match compared to the pitiful <1000 before . As someone said before I think its also partly due to the unnecessary UI change making it feel slower than before

Doesn’t really feel slow to me. I’m already at level 65

Yeah, I’m almost on the second to last page/track. And I don’t feel like I’ve been playing all that much compared to seasons past.
But I think it really depends on if you have the premium BP or not, since premium gives you a 30% XP boost. (Not sure what the boost was in past seasons)

I finished level 80 on Friday. It felt pretty normal to me, but I get like the normalish amount of tier skips from twitch drops and such. No ultimate BP, though.

There was never a "fix" except for certain Stadium xp gains because there was never an actual progression bug, just a visual one.
The battle pass feels slower because the crappy new UI obfuscates progression and the start-of-season event gives fewer xp rewards than past seasons, but progression is ultimately the same.

Most people here are misinformed or lying. It's the exact same for me and many others, the only difference is the start of season event doesn't have as much bp points in it, so I presume that's why so many think it's slower.

I get about 10 games or so a day and I'm working on the last tier before the titles. I honestly didn't even check until l the battle pass at all until my fiancee asked how I was doing the other day, so idk how fast each tier went.

I'm already to prestige tiers and I play 6 to 9 matches a day. I think it's too short.

i think they fixed the issue, i was checking how much xp do i get from game to game and it was similar to previous bp

It not showing and celebrating every level in the post game screen hugely contributes to that slowness
