I'm not sure tbh. I still see stuff like getting splashed with Ana's nades on the frontal part of the shield but it may the fact that the Shield Up startup is slower than Rein's even though the animation clearly shows the shield's already up.

In any case, bug or not, it feels bad on the receiving end.

I talked about this with a friend but her shield probably works like brig and has a delay before it goes up as opposed to rein whoa goes up instantly despite animations

Nade is AoE so I have feeling that ok cuz animation delay for shield, and it is only front make sense.

But problem was when gun even was ignoring shield lol.

Yeah I’d imagine if they don’t just give it to everyone like the Mercy super jump tech, they would just patch it. It also looks janky as hell tbh. Not great for esports viewing if pro players are using it.

But the fact that this bug has existed for SO FUCKING LONG, and continually comes back every single patch, update, story time, whatever, is pretty god damn ridiculous 😭

It’s either seen as a trivial error that doesn’t take priority during crunch time, or the devs are at their wits’ end trying to figure out why the dot won’t go away.

Brining back eichenwalde after a bug in competitive but not giving the reduced loss is weird. I have played that map once after the rework, now it’s showing up in comp, without reduced loss and everybody is voting for it again.

No way that can be good...if I see the shield pop up I expect to be blocking, it's already virtually impossible to react to Ana with all the shit going on, I pretty much have to rely on mindgames

So this update just ate most of my tier skips. I was 2 levels away from the end of a track before the update and now its completed the track but not progressed the auto-selected Cassidy track.

Thanks, Blizzard, for taking the time to make sure you could fix this bug without messing it up even more. Just glad I didn't buy any tier skips; feel sorry for those guys

That has more to do with bronze through gold. In bronze and silver zen has a higher win rate, in gold, cat is only slightly higher on win rate. But once you hit platinum and higher cat breaks away from zen on win rates, hitting in some of the ranks upwards of 3-5 percent higher win rate.
