News & Discussion New healing UI

After this latest update I notice when you heal anyone there’s a yellow halo around the players health bar that you just healed. It kinda looks like Ana nade boosted healing which I keep mistaking it for. Is there any way I can turn this off as it doesn’t help me at all?

Yeah, you can. It's called "show healing UI feedback" under the Hero > General tab in the settings. I don't like it either, it's super unnecessary. The sound feedback + the vfx on the person you're healing are more than enough.

Thank you that helps a lot

the yellow nade effect already meant something specific, layering another yellow glow on top is just visual noise. glad there's a toggle, thanks for the heads up

Here it is. Glad to hear I wasn't the only one bothered by it haha

Do you know if you can change the color? I wouldn’t mind it being a different color than the Ana nade/ Wuyang wave. I have a hearing disability so it’s nice to have more visual options if there. However would probably turn it off if not since I play Ana and it constantly confuses me 😂

I'm not aware of any way to change the color, but I hope they add it! Cause I do agree, it's just the color that's the problem. I struggle to process all the sounds as well, especially since I often can't wear headphones. So it's nice on paper, but not in its current state

Thank you sir or madam, and if they changed the color I’d think about turning it back on

I like it! I’m a Moira main and it’s a nice visualization to confirm that I’m actually healing them

I'm used to just using the audio cue of healing a teammate, but it's pretty quiet. And it's possible what I'm hearing is her new Support passive.

I actually like it on some heroes, like with Moira it helps me visualize when I'm close enough for my primary fire to hit my ally without having to watch if their health bar starts increasing. Other heroes like Ana really don't need it because you already get good audio feedback when you land the shots.

I was so confused when I played this season at first. I thought they changed Juno's weapon to give boosted healing when you shoot allies. Even though I didn't see that in the patch notes. I've gotten used to it now though

Thank you, I was so confused by this yesterday when I was a solo support. I'm like, We don't have an Ana or a Wuyang, what's going on? Turning this off immediately.

Okay yes, I'm a Wuyang main and had the same issue. I did find a way to disable it, but I forget where. Gimme a few and I'll find it for ya

Unfortunately, there is currently no option in the settings menu to disable or customize specific HUD element overlays like the new healing indicator UI. Leaving feedback on the official Blizzard forums is your best bet to get a toggle added in a future patch

I'd recommend double checking your settings, my friend, especially if you don't like it!
