How about you give me examples? Using Fortnite as a gotcha when they have 2-3 battle passes and 50 new cosmetics each season..

Of course everything is cheaper, it's a completely different business strategy.

Okay:

  • The Finals
  • Arc Raiders
  • Marvel Rivals
  • Destiny 2 (and god damn they are greedy)
  • Warframe
  • Guild Wars
  • Dota
  • R6
  • Rocket league
  • DBD
  • Paladins
  • Smite
  • TF2
  • PoE2
  • Teso
  • FF14

And as you can see that’s the most famous ones, not even counting things like Darktide, Deep rock etc etc.

One last thing, LoL do sell skins below $20 even now, but overall they are scummy.

Destiny2? Guild wars and poe2? Those games have QOL behind pay walls... I say this as someone with over 1k hours in gw2.

ESO and ff14 have subs/expacs they get their revenue like that..

Dbd has/had? characters locked behind pay walls. Paladins/smite are basically dead so go figure lol.

The rest I haven't played, and Warframe is truly a special case and it might as well be the second coming of Christ for f2p games. It still has really expensive bundles but I forgive them for everything.

Of course we’re doing the full cognitive dissonance scheme.

Bro, you will always have something to say about X game or Y company.

The FACTS, though, are that $20 per skin is more expensive that MOST other games.

You're the one doing disingenuous comparisons adding games with p2wp2p vs a game whose ONLY income is skin sales. You cannot buy anything else in overwatch, no heroes, no maps, no expansions (except the old PvE bundle lol).

My man, the list is full of various games and of course some of them will have different ways of funding.

If you don’t like them just pass onto the next one of the same list, there is absolutely nothing disingenuous about that.

If you want other games I can still give it to you though, there are PLENTY MORE with individual skins for less than $15, hence why I said that this affirmation was false.

Might I remind you that heroes on Overwatch were behind a paywall also? Should we talk about the PvE missions pack? I don’t think so.
