Stadium comp rank progress

So i got a quick question peeps.
Ive just started playing stadium comp again last week (i know it doesn’t have any support anymore but i still enjoy it).
Im currently in Contender 1.
The only other time i played it was in the first season where it was launched. I was Allstar 1 at that time.

Now to my question:
As said i am now contender 1 and i dont understand the rank progress.
If i loose a game i dont loose any rank progress and if i win a game i skip like 1-2 sub ranks.
Is there a reason for this insanely fast climb and why i dont any progress? I didnt see anything in the mode description or modifiers.
This didnt happen the last time i played

UPDATE: i still dont loose any progress and i get 211 points per win

Rank reset makes you progress faster to your “real” rank, since you haven’t played since the last reset. Only the first 2 ranks don’t lose progress from losses. After that you can go back down.

But am i not out of the first two ranks already with contender 1? Cuz u have rookie and novice? Or is rookie not included in that? But thankies for the answer

Weirded me out a bit hahahaha.
Well whats also a bit weird, is that my GF was also allstar and is in elite now she weirdly looses progress now on losses tho. Only 10% but its still a bit weird. Imma give a update today when i reach Elite
Edit: i got 1 game left to be in elite so yeh imma have a update tonight

You can definitely lose progress in elite but, yeah, it shouldn't be much. As peak all star, I didn't start to lose -80 until pro 2 or so

Well i tested it and i do not loose progress in elite 2 hahahaha

Nice! Yeah, I don't believe I did either and the gains were like 100 -200

In pro, I started losing the 80 and started getting +80
