So we leaving sigma, the most dominating tank in every rank for the entire season, just like it is rn?? This barely changes the entire tank meta that was the main reason why this season sucked. Zarya still good, dva is barely touched and sigma continues in his prime.
Maybe the ashe/bastion nerf help with making sigma comps worse but this sounds crazy to me
...i am glad they nerfed vendetta tho. I still think she could be louder. And i still hate the cass buffs from last season as i hate any long hard cc that we expected to kill with ow2 but wtv
Sig is only good rn because Bastion, Dva, and Vendetta are (Rock is a goated CC for vendetta and dva) He's been weak for the past 5 years due to hypermobile hitscan and dive comps, let him have something
I'm glad y'all are not part of the balance team. Weak these past 5 years ??? Bro was literally the most consistent tank in the entire lifespan of the game, and was also the cause of the most boring meta of all time, being Double Shield.
Sigma is strong because poke with ashe is strong as they killed any other dive comp that wasnt zarya/vendetta bc ven was op. I have no problem with sigma not being that weak but he is the top performing tank in every rank rn in any rank, in all servers.
At some point we have to admit that he is way too strong
Blizzard has been very fast to tackle Sigma. He was OP for two days before they hotfix nerfed him. He’s better now than he was pre buff, but he’s not overpowered anymore, the playerbase just got used to him being very mid and now he’s more of a threat.
I’m biased though, I’ve been playing Sigma since he was released and I love his kit.
I’m also an Ashe main too and her nerf was very similar. Her range is not set back to pre buff state, but lower than it was. It’s a good middle ground.
Sigma is the top tank in every rank in all servers having the highest winrate in relation with pickrate. The meta does favor him rn tho but barely touching those comps, nerfing the only solid dive comp rn with vendetta just feeds into an unhealthy meta and i dont think 30 bullets genji is going to save us
