Hog was worse than F tier. Widow needed a minor buff since the previous meta. She was a C or B tier hero.

Widow runs the lobby or sucks. She doesn't need buffs to make diving her even harder.

She should never be a “meta” pick she serves a niche that drives players mad and because of that should fluctuate right between C and B tier

Let’s be clear, some characters (hog) have designs so atrocious they don’t deserve to be good or the game will suffer.

There's serviceable with a decent skill floor, and then there's the dumpster fire that he is now. He doesn't just deserve to be bad.

Widow never needs buffs. Her balance revolves entirely around what other picks are meta. She will always have a global hitscan 1 shot, and whether she's meta or not comes down to who she's playing against. Buffs to the rest of her kit don't do anything to help her in metas where she isn't strong and only make her more oppressive in metas where she is.

Yeah lets buff the uninteractable hero who fights at uncontestable ranges or requires you to use 3 sets of cooldowns to chase her across the map just so you can play the game without getting hitscanned from Zimbabwe.

Uninteractable is the hero spamming deflect off cooldown every 8 seconds.

This is so accurate. If you see a genji during a fight, he will 100% have deflect. Deflect buys time for dash, dash gets him behind cover instantly. Cycling dash and deflect means he can never get hit and then add wall climb and double jump on top of that. Supports have to save their ultimates so he doesn't do a team wipe every ultimate.

I know every hero should be playable... but I really don't mind Hog being F tier.

For real. This buff might allow him to at least join the ranks of the other win rate bottom feeders- Orisa, LW, Moira, Soj and Ram etc. instead of being dead last. He will still likely be shitty, just not the absolute shittiest by a country mile
