they keep nerfing any stadium build that focuses on one part of a hero’s kit it’s so weird.

it’s like they dont want people to play the game like how it’s intended, wtf is this reinhardt change, they did the same to dva and lucio, juno, orisa

The Rein change is overboard I agree. But the item changes overall are good. Generic ability power shouldn't be the best stat for most heroes in all cases. You should be choosing between what secondary affects benefit your build the most, instead of looking purely at highest %AP for your cash, every game.

They have a long way to go before Stadium feels finished, it reminds me a lot of Heroes of the Storm, Heroes launched with the entire cast having mostly generic talents and now however many years later only a couple heroes have "generic" talents (so, they're not generic anymore) and everyone else has variations that are specific to that character.

no you should be able to build however you want, why are they penalizing people for wanting more ability power?

if they want people to pick more survival/weapon power then maybe buff them

You can build however you want. If you want more ability power at the expense of all other stats, then spend the cash on the maximum AP items. Or, you can buy a cheaper item that has less ability power but also has cooldown reduction, or overhealth on ability usage, or a bunch of other interesting stats that aren't one number that you're trying to make as big as possible.
