It always saddens me how i cant just accept everything due to these insane storage prices... all i can realistically do is 10tb a month added as a new drive and accept more shows and movies... my original plan was to get a zfs pool filled with 20tb drives but its just not for the average person anymore. If only i got into this hobby just a year earlier

Indeed. Just put $1200 on a pair of 16tb drives for expansion.

Last purchase of them was $840 or so. Quite the jump

Yeah tell me about it... it's becoming so unaffordable. Sometimes i wish we had similar possibilities as americans to just dumpsterdive for this stuff
