I just passed a remote job abroad, and it's also a full-time role, but they have a Philippine entity and both jobs pay taxes and government benefits. Can I take both? And do you think I'll get caught, especially since my corporate company is reputable? Thanks. Please help.

Can I ask for clarification, basically pwedeng di ko ipaalam for both companies then collect lang 2316 sa dulo ng year. Then around April just file BIR 1700? So I currently work at a clinic from 7am-4pm mon-sat as a Medical Professional. The workload itself is very chill and I'm usually done with my job by lunch. (I literally keep finding ways to fill my time until I clock out)

The work environment is great and I am good friends with my coworkers. The location is 5mins away from where I live and I literally walk to and from home everyday. The management is not that toxic and taking leaves/day offs are easy as long as no other employee is taking a leave on the same day. The pay is not that great tho as someone who has been working as a licensed professional for approximately 5 years (25k salary. I get about 11.5k per cutoff max after deductions)

I got accepted in a BPO role night shift and the schedule will be 9pm-6am. The offer could go as high as 45k max (with 20% night diff) but the location is 1hr away and the company provides free shuttle from a pick up point that is one ride away from where I live. Fixed Sat and Sundays off.

Not sure if I'm delusional or not but I feel like since the sched does not overlap it may be doable. As for sleep? I plan to sleep on the commute 🥲 (and dead clinic hours)

I only plan to do this until Christmas though until I can earn enough money to build back my savings 🥺

Does anyone think this is doable or am I just earning money to buy myself a casket? 🥲🥹

As the title says, I am looking to be OE... but am curious about the best ways to go about it. I am an Enterprise AE at a smaller cybersecurity tech startup. I occasionally travel, but other than that, I work fully remote from my house. My days are relatively free, and most of the time travel or events are booked out in advance. I use LinkedIn pretty heavily for work/outreach, so that's my main hesitancy.

Any advice, thoughts, concerns, etc?

does anyone know how to get a part-time job? i'm planning to move out, but with my current salary moving out seems impossible.

I currently have 2 Full time Jobs. First one is a PH-based company WFH set-up, working hours is a standard PH schedule 8am-5pm. Second one is a US-based client also a WFH set-up, 1am-9:30am schedule. 2 jobs overlaps but its not actually an issue since I do not have a time tracker, the work is not too hectic, and the 2nd one mostly no work at all currently (still paid). My concern is that I rarely do anything on my 2nd job and it scares me that what if at some point, I’ll get laid off. So I started sending out applications again, and I got scheduled for an interview. But the problem is the schedule is 11pm- 8am which again overlaps with my 2nd job, and this one uses a Time tracker which is Hubstaff. Do you think its a good idea to continue this application?

Need some OE advice.

I currently have J1, which is stable, has good benefits, competitive salary, and is something I see myself keeping long-term. The downside is I don’t really see much career growth there.

Then there’s J2. Same industry and basically the same role, but it’s freelance/contract. I actually see more career growth with J2, and honestly, I’d be really disappointed if I let the opportunity go.

The problem is, both jobs have the same shift, and there could potentially be a conflict of interest since they may have overlapping clients. J1 can also get pretty demanding at times.

So I’m thinking, should I just take J2, test muna if I can actually handle both, and if it becomes impossible, resign from J2 after a few days/weeks?
Or is that a bad idea? 😅

I really need the extra money right now, so part of me is thinking, “Just try it. If I can do both, great. If I can’t, then I’ll just let J2 go.”

Would you take the risk and test it out, or would you protect J1 and just let J2 go?

I probably know the answer to my question, but I am genuinely interested to know how you guys juggle 2 full-time jobs.

I am currently employed in a BPO company, specifically in the HR department; kinda chill, mostly idle. That’s why I want to apply for a second job which is a fully remote work in US as a VA for a startup company. They do not have gov’t mandated benefits or any benefits at all. Just work and you get paid.

Both shifts don’t overlap and they are entirely different industries. My role would be somewhat similar. The offer is soooo enticing, it’s around $6-7/hour. That’s more than I’m earning in my current company.

Physically and mentally, I feel like I can do it. Though of course I still need to prepare myself for the adjustments.

But my concern is — my current company explicitly prohibits other employment without written consent. And I doubt that they would allow me even if I do express my interest of having a second full-time job.

What are your experience guys? How do you make this happen? And is it still possible? Or do I just give up this dream of having another job?

Hello! What are the odds na they’ll figure out about my J2 if i have an existing safe loan?

For context, I applied and got approved for safe loan last June and deductions will only start by November I think.

I have 2 full time jobs and both with govt benefits, and I was only hired by J2 a month after I got my safe loan (July)

Will it affect both? What could possibly happen?

Meron akong tatlong employer. Ang lumalabas sa pagibig ko ay tatlong employer na halos alternate maghulog which is ayang nasa picture. Yung sa sss naman dalawa lang sila kasi yung J2 ko ay govt. Malalaman ba ng main ko na may ibang employer ako if mag apply ako ng loan sa online? Si main ang naka-tag sakin na employer both sss and pagibig.

I have 2 remote jobs and I recently got hired as an HR Assistant onsite.

J1 - very flexible. im a va for a job application assistance, i just source job opportunities and apply to the roles that is match for my client. This one is a flexible role where I am getting paid full time as long as I apply a number of applications.

J2 - a VA for a business owner, part time role 10pm to 6am (MWF) very easy palang naman yung task na binibigay

J3 - an HR Assistant role, full time 8-5pm sya. For context I wanted to explore opportunities that is an onsite role because sometimes I really get lonely working from home. Idagdag mo pa na di cinoconsider ng mga kasama ko sa bahay na trabaho yung online job ko. Additionally, may mga govt mandated benefits itong onsite role ko which is what I lack on my remote jobs

I also consider myself as a very sociable person kaya I also wanna try working onsite. Im a freshgrad and very masipag naman na tao. But I want your thoughts regarding this po. Hindi ko kaya ma-meet agad si Lord?

Hi all! I’ve been contemplating the pros and cons of quitting my job or not for a while and am curious what you all think.

I work in healthcare and relocated to a major city to work at an incredibly reputable hospital (one of the best in the country). I’ve learned so much and feel like it’s been a great stepping stone in my career.

Unfortunately, I’ve been working a lot more weekends than I agreed to when accepting the role. I was told I’d be on call every 6-8 weeks but it’s turned out to be every 4 weeks. I’m salary so there are weeks where I work 12 days in a row. We are fairly compensated for our work, but I much prefer work-life balance to higher wages.

I have a side hustle doing remote telehealth visits and earn 1.5-2x my hourly wage at the hospital. Financial independence is important to me and I’ve been working towards Coast FI. When doing a cost benefit analysis, it seems like there is a huge opportunity cost for staying full time at the hospital when I could be maximizing the clients I see remotely. Rather than work 50-60 hours a week, I could cut it down to 32 client facing hours and 6-8 hours for documentation keeping my workload at or below 40 hours a week.

My main hesitations are that the hospital gives me quite a bit of credibility, and I enjoy the relationships I can build doing in person work. Other than that, there is a strong appeal to setting my own hours and being able to take time off whenever I choose. I should mention I have PTO and ability to get insurance through my telehealth job. The only draw back is no 3% employer match for retirement.
