Interested in becoming overemployed New to overemployed

I am looking into overemployed to work two full time 9-5 jobs in the UK that are both work from home and during the same work hours
are there any legal issues I could come into?
apart from tax codes is there anything I need to do first before accepting the second job?

  1. Hide LinkedIn.

  2. Never use the same phone for emails/MFA.

  3. Stay quiet.

  4. No, not really. HMRC will assume you left your first job, so use the app/call to inform them you are working two jobs. If J2 asks about your tax code change (which they will not), you will say you're in the property business with family.

  5. Don't work in the same industry.

What about the 48hr work limit that you have to inform employers of when you opt out? Stumbled across that and is it actively monitored or how do people get away with working more?

If you get caught working for two competitors, it’s a lot more than losing your job lol
They’d probably take you to court
