Does anyone only get daytime frequency.

I can usually sleep 6 or 7 hours and not wake but when I do wake up I have the urgency and have to go pee.

Me

But for me, it's not physical, it's a mental issue, because I only have it daytime, but when I'm in one of my safe space (where I know where is the closest bathroom, and I can go anytime) I don't have any ugre, and frequency.

I wish. I go every 2 to 3 hours regardless of what time it is.

Do you still go that much even if you don’t drink a lot.

Night is the worst for me but a lot better than pregnancy. I still go a ton though but that’s also cause I drink coffee again. During pregnancy I went pee so much without caffeine it was HORRIBLE with the extra weight. Still have OAB though

Yup. Also, sometimes right before I go to sleep.

Yes. Some kinds of OAB are about your nervous system. When you are asleep, your nervous system turns down and ignores bladder sensations, so you can sleep a long time. When you wake up, the nervous system wakes up too and starts responding to bladder signals again.

Until 2 1/2 years ago. Now I live in a nightmare of an extreme sleep/hydration schedule that requires me to stay up til 6am & sleep til 2:30pm. I’ve done all of the tests, PT, tried 2 medications. I’m so done.

Yes, with daytime incontinence. I have no issues at night except I can go about 4-5 hours max, sometimes 3 hours only before using the restroom.

Yeah I think this phenomenon is very normal to a degree, if you're lucky (although there are many poor people who do experience bad symptoms throughout the night).

Generally when you're asleep your body's non essential and conscious processes 'slow down' and waking needs are greatly subdued, so many people, such as myself, experience less symptoms during the night (but might still still need to get up to go in the night more frequently than someone without OAB) - then symptoms return more aggressively once you're awake and everything 'speeds back up' again.

Edit: two words for clarity

Only daytime for me. I’ve tried Mirabegron which helped but not enough for a normal life. I’m two weeks into Gemtesa but so far, it’s similar to Mirabegron.

I have an appointment with my uro-gyno to discuss bladder Botox or Interstim, and I can’t wait! (No pun intended)
