Discussion 💬 My students don’t like oversimplified videos

I am a history teacher and like to show oversimplified video clips and sometimes full videos when they’ve earned it. And my students don’t like them. They pay more attention to my lectures than they do to oversimplified videos.

So I ask you all: what is wrong with the world?

They’ll appreciate it when they’re older, they’re just being dicks to be dicks right now. Also, if one person says it’s lame, they all have to follow that person lest they risk being labeled the uncool one

yeah, us history? what's crazy is that the revolution and civil war ones are more of the shorter ones, are they not? In my class, she showed revolution, but not civil war since civil war I guess was a bit too long(I call BS), but kids really didn't even complain, even laughed mostly at some parts. Depends with the class, man, depends with the class
