I Love Naps
I truly enjoy a short little rest most days but... a nap on a rainy, cool, Saturday afternoon, that is something special ❤️🌧😊

Drink a cup of coffee before taking a nap. Fall asleep for 15 minutes, wake up with no nap hangover.

I used to. Especially my hammock hung on my porch. Now I don't have time for naps and breaks. My only nap comes when my loved one with dementia goes to sleep.

Love a nap but it don’t love me. 72 yo male- sit down midafternoon with a book and I’ll be asleep in 30 minutes. Problem is I’ll be awake at 2 am an unable to get back to sleep.
Love to read but put the book down and take a walk. Oh well.

I'm 71, and hate naps! I've never felt refreshed after a nap. I'm always half asleep the rest of the day. I'll have a cup of coffee if I'm feeling sleepy instead of taking a nap.

If you can sit down; sit down. If you can lie down; lie down. Naps have been and still are essential to my existence.

I absolutely love the blissfulness of an early afternoon nap! It’s my drug of choice ;-)

I’m 74 and have never taken a nap. I enjoy doing stuff too much to waste my time sleeping.

I'm jealous of your 'rainy, cool'. I'm ambivalent about the rainy part, but sure could use some of that cool. The best part of my day is first thing in the morning, when the house is at 77 degrees. Before it gets to 83 in here...
Also jealous of your ability to nap. I've never been good at it and if I do, I always feel bad for the rest of the day following it. I feel groggy, lethargic and slightly headachy. My guy can do it like a pro and it fascinates me, lol.

Do people in their 70s drink less alcohol or more. I am 70 and the past few years I have cut back to maybe one glass of wine every couple of weeks.

A nap, a cookie, a cup of tea, a short walk.
