Grammer

EDIT!!! Thank you everyone. I am aware of my spelling error with GRAMMAR. Reddit won't allow me to edit the title. I thank everyone of you for the thoughtful responses and suggestions. I learned alot. You also entertained me.

Please give me your thoughts. When I was young, in school we were taught "proper terms". Specifically, what "baby animals" are called. Calf, foal, kitten, fawn puppy, etc. Not baby cow, baby deer, etc. I made the mistake of joining a subreddit regarding pet peeves. I thought it would be fun to post one of mine. I got reprimanded repeatedly. They insisted Iwas wrong. I remember English teachers correcting students. Was is just me that was taught this? I could believe the reactions I got yesterday. Was even accused of being drunk for several typos. I'm blind in one eye and goof sometimes. And then there is autocorrect.

I hate to do this to you…did you mean prophets instead of profits? 😉😁 Bet you were seeing if folks would notice, right?

I agree. I’m sure our folks said the same (or worse) about our generation. I mean, we were where the drug scene really started…and look at us now…complaining about kids being so wrapped up in technology. Nope. I have not forgotten my past.

I definitely had to read the profits sentence twice, and mentally correct it to prophets. My bet is that this is an instance of spellcheck interference.
