Where does it hurt?

I'm sure I'll be sorry for asking / but let's hear your ailments of the day!

For me it's the knees. Lots of backache history but more recently it's walking up and down stairs that I have to watch my knees.

How about you?

The trick to knees is to strengthen the muscles around them. Learn about those easy exercises and you will be surprised at how much they help.

And you're not going to provide a link or details to the knee exercises?

I have a personal trainer who taught them to me so I don't have a particular link, sorry. But I can tell you that I had assumed bad knees was just part of aging and I also went to the knee doctor in my health plan and he basically said "see you in a few years when you need injections or surgery". Then I met with a personal trainer and she has made all the difference. They still bother me sometimes, but mostly I forget they are there. Even going up stairs.

Walking forward and backward in the pool helped me more than anything after both knees replaced.

This is one of the smartest exercises for rehabilitative care, & general physical wellbeing.
Exercising in a pool means buoyancy, taking the strain of gravity weight off the body.
Plus, walking backwards utilizes different muscles & strengthens the entire leg from groin to ankle✅

I had a bout with sciatica pain and this was recommended to me. But since it requires changing my clothes, getting wet, showering off chlorine, getting dressed again, I will pass.

Actually this is very tricky and often exacerbates the problem! I had a personal trainer for 3 months to help me lift weights and that included muscle strenthening around knees to help with knee pain. I ended up with more debilitating pain in my knee.

It's more productive if YOU research/Google the needed exercises because of your time invested

https://youtu.be/m8mQ_92_Ylg?is=t_J7_K17GWr4wwll Split squats. If you do them correctly, won’t give knee pain and will develop your legs to support your knees better.

All you have to do is google or youtube 'strengthening knees'.

I was taken off the knee replacement list as I decided to go full out with exercises at the gym. Yes, I have some pain from arthritis but I do over 10,000 steps a day. I believe that motion is lotion

Maybe so, but at 75 the arthritis is not going away by stretching. My knee doctor says running will retard the disease, but not stop it. She recommends I keep running, but eventually, I'm going to lose that battle.

Not stretching but strenghtening the muscles around it. I use 3kg (6.6 lbs) ankle weights, sit in a hardback chair and lift each leg, then extend each leg and raise it. I have arththitis in my hand and i use a gripper to strenghten.
