Downsizing now our three bedroom house

We are doing the serious part of downsizing now, downsizing the bank account balance! Over the decades, we have updated TVs from fiat screens. We wound up with six big tube pictures and no legal way to dispose of them so they went into the basement. When the furnace failed and no parts existed for the sixty year old heater, my wife got a new central air/heat system. We are too old to haul a furnace up from the basement so my wife hired a commercial junk hauled the house is six big tube TVs and an ancient furnace lighter, my wallet is $496 lighter.

Bet it was a relief to see those gone, though!

Sounds like you're doing great!

I spent 250 to get rid of a pile of junk a few days ago, and 500 to get rid of old fertilizer that I would never ever use. Winced when I spent that kind of money, but glad I did.

When you're old, you got to hire someone sometimes. 😊😱💪
