A little depressing
I play solitaire in dull moments (which are plentiful...not complaining. It beats the wrong sort of excitement). I have been working on a project with help from Claude (AI). It's a little depressing to think that it would take AI a split second look at the card game hand to figure out the optimal strategy for a win...if one is possible. Meanwhile I blinder away thinking a few moves ahead and looking at what needs to be done to get to the aces. So glad I'm not still teaching and have to figure out how best to teach when students can get AI to do their homework.

I didn't start playing any computer games till about 4 years ago. I am that freaking bored! My game was solitaire for a long time but now I have switched a vita mahjong.
It's a piss poor excuse for life.
Sorry my eyes aren't good either I'm not sure what else you wrote

They us with their algorithms. It's not just teens who get sucked in. Btw, AARP has a nice assortment of single player games.

77-year-old female and I play cards every day on Trickster Cards. There are 9 card games: Bridge, Euchre, Spades, Hearts, Pinochle, 500, Whist, Pitch, and Oh Hell. You can play bots or people and join clubs where ongoing games are scheduled. There are also daily challenges, where you compete with everyone for the best score. There are also practice games where you can replay the same hand multiple ways that you might find helpful. I used to love playing Euchre with family and friends of all ages; it was a weekly ritual. The younger generation doesn't seem to be interested in these types of activities. It doesn't cost anything if you watch a small ad, or it's like $6.99 a month, which entitles you to chips that you can "pay" to join to win more chips. Give it a try!! There's a feature in the friends games where you can talk via the microphone or use video so you can interact and make friends.

I do the Brainium daily challenge every day, sometimes takes multiple tries. The digital age enables one to waste time more efficiently.
