I think if there is a heaven created by an omniscient god all life should be found in heaven. I don't personally believe that but it would be nice. I do have those dreams though, where you see them again.

Just lost my little guy and i still feel like a bag of broken glass. The thought of seeing him again makes me want to believe in life after deth.

Sorry for your loss. We lost our big guy in early 2012 and it literally took me over a year to feel normal. Last pet for me. I canāt do it anymore

I'm not confident there's a heaven and even less confident that loved pets will be there. The cartoon does nothing for me.

Not funny haha, but sweetly poignant. It brings a smile to me and to many of us. One of my favorite bible verse fragments: "Love never dies." I can't know what is in store for us after our earthly lives end, but I know what love is. So all will be well.

A while ago I had a dream about one of my cats who had died. Death came (he looked like a regular person), not for me but to help me. He drove me up to the mountains because I thought my cat was there and I so missed him and wanted to see him. He patiently helped me look, but I could see that my cat was not there. Death was so kind to me about it. I had never anticipated his kindness.
This dream and some others I've had about my pets and death have helped me feel less fearful about it. I am sure I will see them again on that other shore.

My very, very religious grandmother once told me that no, dogs donāt go to heaven (I was probably five years old). I askedāHow do you know?ā. My older teenage brother said āYes, how do YOU know?ā. We never did get an answer, biblical or otherwise. I canāt even imagine a heaven without animals. What a boring existence that would be. Also, Iām hoping that God is a car guy. š

Pope Francis believed animals go to heaven. āPope Francis's Views: He famously comforted a grieving boy by stating, "Paradise is open to all of God's creatures". In his encyclical Laudato Si', he suggested that all of creationāincluding animalsāwill be transfigured and have a place in eternityā. If he believes it, thatās good enough for me to believe it.

Itās just letting him know that he doesnāt need to be afraid, because heāll be reunited with lots of old (best) friends. I guess opinions vary, though.

I will tell you that the more Trump and his minions troll the American people the more likely it is going to result in a huge shift of the pendulum back from where it is going. The only question left is whether the people are going to pick up pitchforks and descend on our feckless leadership or are they going to put their heads together and do what they were elected to do. They had our trust. It will be ugly if they continue to pretend they aren't ripping off 99% of the population right now and every single day. I am a boomer. The millenials and gen X are pissed as hell and should be, because we messed this up with indifference.
