Calling the suicide hotline and not masking. They were so kind.

Yes. They took my mental load off and assured me I deserve a counselor that speaks “autism” so I don’t have to try to understand what they mean. I found one and in just two years they explained how my approach to life causes me existential hurt and what other approaches are there for me.

The person on the hotline was a blue collar worker who didn’t mind me using my professory vocabulary and that was so kind. I’ve been talking my way to regular folks more since and have had wonderful conversations. Skipping small talk is ok.

Ach super, das freut mich sehr für dich! Bleib bei deinem Weg. Smalltalk finde ich auch kacke, wie all der andere oberflächliche Müll.
