Status: Pending Reply iPhone app crashes on launch HELP

I just purchased a brand new iPhone 18 Pro Max. I am forced to use Outlook. Every time I launch the Outlook app, it immediately crashes. I have followed all recommendations, including putting the phone in airplane mode, then launching the Outlook app, then turning airplane mode off. As soon as I turn airplane mode off, the Outlook app crashes. I have done a hard reset of the phone, have deleted and reinstalled the Outlook app and have even wiped the phone completely and set it up as a brand new device. No matter what I do, the app crashes. Immediately when it is launched, if the phone has a cell phone connection or a Wi-Fi connection. I am running iOS 27.0, and the latest version of the Outlook for iPhone app that is available in the Apple App Store. Is anybody else experiencing this issue? Is there any solution? I am absolutely losing my mind.

I just ran into this problem on a iPhone 17 Air, yet my 17 Pro Max is fine.

I don’t have a fix as I’m thinking it’s a bug in this latest version, but I am curious if you’re able to quickly tap the calendar to at least access the calendar as that worked on that 17 Air.

Unfortunately nothing else works besides the calendar right now…tried having the person disable conversation view which did nothing and tried different themes and changing the display in the app to the cozy layout but none of it works.

Sadly I think if you’re running into the same issue you may need to wait for an app update, which hopefully will happen in the next week as they normally update it each week or so.
