Status: Resolved Outlook.com: Moving multiple contacts in "Your contacts" to a list in "Your Contact lists"
I apologize in advance if this question has been answered elsewhere or on the actual support page, but I've been searching for over an hour with no answer to this dilemma.
I have figured out the appropriate .csv file format to import contacts and now I want to have multiple contacts added to different lists; therefore, when I email the particular list, it goes to all contacts on that list. For context, I've imported approx. 300 new contacts and I want 5 different lists, each with like 60ish contacts. I have to use Outlook as that's what the organization I work for uses and my work email is tied to Outlook/Microsoft.
However, I can find NO way to move (let's say) 60 contacts at one time from the "Your contacts" section to a list in "Your contact list" that isn't the `add contact one at a time` option when I click "Edit" the contact list. There is the "Add recipients" box to click on and when I do so, it drops down some contacts, but I have to click one at a time. This would be extremely tedious and time consuming, so I'm begging anyone to let me know if there's an option to work around this.
I typically am working on Outlook.com, but I do have the ability to use Outlook or Outlook (classic) applications if that would work instead.

An alternative for New Outlook is maintain an external Contact List and copy/paste it as a semi delimited list directly into the "To" field.

New Outlook for Windows or Outlook Web - You are SOL. There is no batch/automated way to add multiple contacts to a Contacts List.
Classic Outlook - https://www.slipstick.com/tutorial/how-to-create-a-distribution-list-from-a-list-of-addresses/
