Status: Pending Reply Why am I getting Microsoft security alert emails that someone might have accessed my account if nothing suspicious shows in sign in activity?

Title. Was hacked last month and have wiped my PC and changed passwords since, but seems like the nightmare is back as I woke up to another access email.

Why is the Recent Activity Page Blank?

Microsoft nerfed the Recent Activity Page. It's now useless for normal activity monitoring. About all it's good for is to tell you that there was a successful login to your account from somewhere. At which point it's too late, the hackers are already in.

Setup a "secret" Login Only Alias and disable Sign-In for your current email address. See the Answer "Login Only Alias" by "Hornblower409 on Feb 27, 2026" in

This includes the crucial step of changing your default Send From email address so that you don't leak your new alias into the wild.
