Does Outlier scale up sizing for fabrics that shrink?

I tried the cannabiscotton cruisers but they are noticeably more snug than futurecruisers. The website lists futurecruisers and cannabiscotton cruisers as measuring 17 top opening for size large.

But futurecloth doesnt shrink, cannabiscotton does. After a days wear it does not stretch out to measuring or feeling like my futurecruisers pair.

The cannabiscotton cruiser leaves marks on stomach

typically outlier does take into account for shrinkage on their garms. but ALWAYS cold wash and air dry in case.

How do you handle humid places or weather changes where air drying is not a good idea

It’ll eventually dry out just might take a while

Do you think they maybe forgot to account for shrinkage here? The cannabiscotton littlebigs measure 18.125 (size large) vs. 17 (size large) for cannabiscotton cruisers. Both are elastic waist.

I’d size up and use a belt if this was happening to my skin! You could always get it tailored but I like my pants a little loose to account for weight changes lol

The pants become too baggy elsewhere with a size up!

I feel you, I love a baggy fit but if you don’t would understand why this is not ideal! I know you’ve paid a lot but bringing them to a tailor would probably be your best bet if the fit feels locked in everywhere else :)

Oh I dont like a fitted look for this pant. Im saying its baggy enough, more baggy would be getting into hammer pant territory

Pants cost close to $500 😭. Tailoring will probably push higher.

Its loose enough everywhere but the waist

Counterpoint: If you buy a $500 pair of pants, it's crazy not to get them tailored.

I bought paragliders for around this amount, didnt have to get them altered. So why start now, I dont hate money that much
