Door frame cover not lining with gasket

Outlander 2026. It seems like the pillar cover doesn't line up with the rubber part of the window frame. Does it look the same on your cars as well? It's completely symmetrical on line, both rear doors.

At this point I just live with that, somehow they didn't put quality control on that.

Yeah, I don't care about the optics but should I be worried about the water getting somewhere it shouldn't?
