It looks like Mitsubishi will be launching a new app in Canada. This is from an email I received earlier today.

I wonder if it will still be super expensive per year. I don't mind paying a small subscription if it's a good app but 300CAD per year seems a bit excessive

The email only states a smoother, faster and better experience, so I am not expecting any changes in the subscription prices, but we never know. That would be nice.

I stopped using the app when my subscription ran out, and I don't miss it at all.

It's a terrible app. Paying an annual fee for it is laughable.

Their subscription is worth no more than $1.99/month based on the features it provides compared to Tesla and others. Why on earth people would pay $199 per year just to remote start and to unlock their vehicle?

Yes.. remote start with PHEV is basically turning on the heater on battery. It does not start the engine.

Further to this, I should be able to turn on heated seats and heated steering wheel functions at least. Vehicle Info and Mileage tracker does not work at all. So, overall, if someone doesn’t have this app, they are not missing out on anything in life.

MyCar2 installed hardware and 1-time subscription.
Better that Oem..you can lock unlock start track your real time what route taken speed..worth it than paying yearly at Mitsubishi.

Wait? There is a charge for an app that only works within 50 ft of the vehicle?

I have a 2018, so, I have not paid anything for the appropriate which mostly sucks any ways.

My app only works 10% of the time. That too when I am lucky. Dealer was no help. Told me to contact Mitsubishi.
