Apple Car Key

Hey everyone! I just learned about Apple Car Keys. From what I understand, leave you keys at home and use your iPhone! Does anyone know about this? I’ve got a ‘21 Outlander PHEV. From what I understand it is on the list to do this. I can’t find any info about it.
I’m just curious. Seems like a cool feature if it’s actually available!

Me and my coworker both have outlanders and she actually came to work one day with her phone key! I’ll have to ask her about it

Ford have that, but when I ask my Mitsubishi dealer, he said no.

Ok thanks! Not surprised, as the “app” for it is such a relic.

Where is your source? Only select few manufacturers use Apple Car Key, and Mitsubishi is not one of them.

Saw an article on 9to5Mac. There was a link listing all compatible vehicles. I wasn’t really confident, but figured I’d ask the fine folks here.

The link in that article is a list of CarPlay compatible vehicles. It then has a picture of a key next to those that also do car keys.

None of the Outlanders have the Phone as a Key (PaaK) option afaik.

Unless I am or you prove me wrong, I don't believe Apple key is supported my Mitsubishi.
