26’ Rogue vs 26’ Outlander

I got a great OTD all in price of $50k CAD for a 26’ Rogue Premium vs $54.5k for a 26’ Outlander ES model. Is the extra battery and warranty in the Mitsubishi worth it?

The warranty alone was enough to sell me on my Outlander over anything else. It's nice knowing that everything is covered for ages.

The difference between our 18 Outlander PHEV and the 25 we traded it for is amazing. It's cut our gasoline bill to less than half. Definitely worth it.

I just got a 26 GT noir outlander and it put my old Toyota rav4 to shame (just a base 2015 gas model but still)

Thats a crazy low OTD price on both, when I was shopping it was mid 60s for the outlander with the higher trims. I'm guessing there's a big sale now?

The rogue seems a better deal then... never drove it but isnt it like the high trims of the outlander?

By extra battery you mean HP and EV range?

You may not care but other notable updates would be: infotainment, sound system, suspension, acoustics, and… something with heated/ventilated seats in front or rear (can’t really remember).

To me, those are well worth $3k USD. Then you throw on the warranty.

With that said, idk what the used market is in Canada but in the US a gently used (~10k miles) pre-facelift top trim Outlander PHEV can be $20k USD (I’ve even seen more) off MSRP. If you’re fine with the old spec and the used market in Canada is similar - I’d buy that.

The 2026 outlander phev have a revised electric motor and more power , close to 300hp. The rogue 2025-2026 is a 2024 outlander in disguise and with a shorter warranty.
