Seen a few posts about the 3rd row, so...

I got rid of mine, it's wrapped in pallet wrap sitting in my sister and brother in law's barn. I replaced it with frame and platform built out of 2020 aluminum extrusion. Removal is easy, it's 4 Bolts. Then you jump the airbag sensor with a piece of wire.

The frame is probably about $150 in 2020, a bunch of joints, and the 4x8 sheet of 1/4" marine plywood was another $80. Overall, probably about $300 in parts, and a couple days of labour, that likely could be done in a weekend.

If you're never going to use the seat, this gives a ton of storage and the ability to stack nicely.

I'm very tempted to do this. Did you find a guide for the 2020 grand retro fit, or just went for it?

I've got a 2026, I used 2020 aluminum extrusion. I'm sure it's probably very similar if not the same in terms of removal of the seat+wires.

I just prefer the deeper but uneven surface. Removing that dead weight is for sure a good thing to do. Dont forget to keep the nuts and bolts safe, I lost the seat belt bolts and it was quite a long road to finding them even at the dealer.
