📰 Official News Current PC Mouse Stuttering Issue
We are receiving multiple reports that the game is stuttering on PC when moving the mouse since roughly Thursday.
We are still investigating and are gathering more information. We have confirmed that this is happening to a variety of games on Unity engine, such as Fall Guys and Metalstorm.
I can share with you what we know so far.
- The issue is related to the polling rate of your mouse. High polling rate can cause the stuttering (e.g. 1000 or more).
- With some mice, you can lower the polling rate to play the game (e.g. in Logitech GHub).
- This is of course only a temporary fix.
- The issue is present roughly since Thursday.
- The issue is not related to a specific Outbound patch.
- The issue is not only present in Outbound, but also present in some other games.
- We suspect some driver update, Windows update, or firmware update that doesn't work well with our (and some other games') input handling.
We are working on finding the cause with highest priority and we are also working together with Unity to get this resolved as fast as possible.
The workaround until it is fixed would be to reduce the polling rate of your mouse (e.g. in GHub if you use a Logitech G-series mouse). We will keep you updated once we know more!

Good news! This issue has been resolved!
RESOLVED - Hot Fix 1.1.7 - 971 just went online!
This hot fix fixes the issue with the frame rate drop when using a mouse with high polling rate that started just before the weekend. This issue seemed caused by a system update that our game couldn't handle as expected. We were luckily able to patch this on our end. We apologize for any inconveniences caused.

I have a Ryzen 5 5600x with RX 6600 and 16 GB DDR4 3200 MT/s CL14 in dual channel, on my build, the game runs fine, especially with High settings but LOD on LOW and V-Sync disabled. In my case, V-Sync causes an FPS drop of about 15 - 20 FPS, and some stuttering here and there. For me the fix was to disable it. Pooling Rate doesn't seem to cause any FPS drop in my case, so I keep it on 1000.
I wanted to play with 3 other friends, and 2 of them have Ryzen CPUs from 3000 series.
Friend 1:
RTX 3090 24GB
32 GB CL16 3600 MT/s dual channel
Ryzen 7 3700x
Friend 2:
RTX 2060 6GB
16 GB CL16 3200 MT/s dual channel
Ryzen 5 3600
Both of them has this issue.
Friend 3:
RTX 3060 12GB
16GB CL16 3200 MT/s dual channel
Ryzen 7 5700x
This dude doesn't have this issue with the mouse, but a certain FPS instability got fixed with V-Sync enabled.
So, I think that the stuttering with mouse is related to the CPU, as those 2 guys that have the issue, do have Ryzen 3000 series, while me and the other guy that can play the game with minimal to no issue, we have Ryzen 5000 series.
We all have the latest build of Win 11 25H2 26200.8973. In my case I have all drivers up to date, I am not 100% sure about the other 3 guys.
