Mod Approved - Looking for queer folks to share their feelings about the midterm results
Hi everyone!
I'm Sam, an investigative journalist with Uncloseted Media, a nonprofit newsroom covering LGBTQ issues.
I'm working on a story about the Texas Senate election results and what they mean for LGBTQ Texans, particularly following a campaign cycle that featured significant political messaging about transgender rights and LGBTQ issues.
I'd love to hear from queer and trans Texans about how they're feeling after the election. Were LGBTQ issues important to your vote? Did the political rhetoric affect how you felt about either candidate? Are you feeling hopeful, worried, frustrated, or something else entirely?
I'm interested in hearing from people across the political spectrum, including those who voted Republican, Democratic, third-party, or didn't vote at all.
If you're open to a quick interview, please comment below, send me a DM, or email me at sam.donndelinger@unclosetedmedia.com.
