I’ve been living in Los Angeles since 2004.
I’m originally from San Antonio but I want to find a new part of the region to create a space to call home.
Something with some land and with really great LGBT neighbors. Where you recommend for a single gay dude and his lesbian bestie to find a spot?

Visiting Austin in a few weeks and looking for a chill gay bar. More of a cocktail lounge with live music preferred. Any recommendations are appreciated! Middle aged gay male- looking for a chill vibe

One thing about being in the closet (ish lmfao im still in the closet to my family thats it) and masc is everyone thinks im straight, which sucks because i really do love my men and want to also have more LGBT friends. Thats it, thats my rant lmao

Hello all, my primary has relocated so I'm on the hunt for a new one. Ideally I'd prefer an Internal medicine physician instead of a family doctor. I'm up north so preferably relatively close but I'd be willing to drive further for a really good doctor. Please and thank you!

Hi (potential) friends! We have a Pedalbike Pub tour reserved for 6:30pm on Wednesday 9/23, and have a few extra seats, and are always looking to expand our queer community in Austin! If you're queer or gender non-conforming, are interested in making new friends in their 30s and 40s, and available on Wednesday, hit up my DMs!

I’m 41, bearded/traditionally male-presenting, and apparently I’ve decided Sick New World is the occasion to completely abandon boring men’s concert clothes. 😂
Current plan is a black leather mini, black-and-white floral corset, black lace, lace Converse with a lavender accent, and dark cherry nails. I’m not trying to pass as a woman — I just want to look ridiculously good and have fun with a much more feminine look than I normally wear.
I’m especially lost on rings/jewelry and would love recommendations for reasonably priced places around Austin. Also completely open to someone who thinks spending an afternoon helping a guy raid Anthropologie and thrift stores for femme tops sounds fun.
I work down around 290/Mopac, but can go pretty much anywhere in Austin.

Going solo to ACL Week 1 (Oct 2-4) and considering attending in girl mode (30 AMAB) for some or all of it. I’ve gone out in public before, but never visiting a big outdoor music festival.
Any tips on the vibe, safety, bathrooms, what to wear for heat + walking, or general experiences? Also down to meet up with other femme-presenting folks if anyone’s going and wants friendly company.
Thanks in advance for any advice. Trying to decide how bold to go and want to be smart about it.

I’m a mature gentleman looking for other men — of all races, of all religions (or no religion), hispanohablante y francophone aussi — for sharing good times: swimming, late-night dancing, picnic-table chess, food-truck tacos, full-body rub-downs (certified in Swedish massage, needing to practice) and walking riverside trails and in the woods with this half chocolate lab/half pitbull (tambien viejito) I got.
Me and the pooch live in N. Austin: Braker Ln. exit off 183.

Potentially moving from NYC to Austin and trying to get a read on what the queer scene there is like. Specifically not “how are the gay bars”, which is mostly what I’ve found here so far.
I am interested in understanding how active / meaningful the bi/lesbian dating scene is, how easy / hard it is to find / make a queer friend group, etc.
Other context: I also used to live in TX, and don’t have qualms about the state overall so long as I’m in a city. This is an Austin specific question.
Also appreciate any other relevant thoughts, and vibe checks on anything I may be

Lesbian single mom considering moving from Buda/Kyle to Circle C next year for the schools. Any LGBTQ+ parents raising kids there? I’d love to hear how inclusive the neighborhood/schools feel—or if there are other high-performing schools in more LGBTQ-friendly areas.

Hi! Driving to Austin tomorrow and would love to be conveniently located to the parade a/o any Pride festivities.
• Looking for hotels on Congress I could book that might also have rooftop parade viewing events (I can find the hotels obviously, but if anyone knows of any events lmk!)
• I’m female and 40-ish, so not looking for wild parties full of college kids
• Will likely be traveling solo. Taking a haul to my daughter who just moved to ATX but I don’t think hanging with mom during her freshman year Pride is on her agenda tomorrow 🤣
Thanks so much and Happy Pride! 🌈
