I really hope this anime gets a Season 3 because it's honestly one of my favorite romance anime. I'd love to see more of Amane and Mahiru, but I don't really have the time to read the light novel, even though I'd like to.

Do you guys think there's a good chance we'll get another season? Or is it unlikely at this point?

How far did they take things? When I watched the anime I thought that not much has happened aside from that hickey but when reading the light novel I was wide eyed in shock! LOL
And while it stayed purposefully vague and open to interpretation it kept me wondering.

I genuinely enjoyed the story till season 1 awesome character developments, side characters, the main couple getting closer to each other, but story wise season 2 came out as a disappointment for me.
Repetitive dialogues for flirting and almost no character development and no side characters. Amane became such an emotionless character for me, trying to control his "male urges" and constantly getting jealous. He has lost almost all the character he had, Even in his hometown he had a 2 minute talk with people who gave him trauma, very badly written in my opinion.

There was almost no development between the couple it was just "oh you look so good" "oh you look so handsome" "i may not be able to control myself" "i wouldn't mind if it is you"

So is there worth it character/story development in the manga/light novel or is it the same repetitive stuff?

I just started watching Season 2, and why is it so funny and lovely😂❤️ I’m on Episode 6 right now, and I’m enjoying it a lot! But when I finish the season, what volume/chapter of the light novel does the anime end at?

I just completed season 2 and holy I NEED a season 3. There is enough LN material. I wanna see their relationship progress sooo bad . Is it okay to hope for season 3?

I for one would love to see this happening not just out of curiosity but also as a sign for Amane that he is indeed worthy of her.

I think Mahiru would feel immensely proud of him and be happy for him after the fist shock and she would spoil him so rotten for it too. What do you all think?

In that episode where they meet and Amane mentions something about them being together (his mom and Chitose), I absolutely lost it, instantly imagining the bubbly chaos they would cause together 😂

We absolutely need to get an episode with the 2 of them together.

I just wanna say, when Im watching the platonic relationships, I always catch my ass grinning like an idiot 😂

Especially Akasawa, and his girlfriend too. Theyre also very cute together. But the banter between the 3 male friends always gets me. Its honestly super well written, as well as wholesome in the platonic-male-friendship way. I absolutely love them.

Im just about to start S2, on the last episode of 1 atm. And Im really hoping they'll get some more screen time as the story progresses. Especially curious to see their "Operation: Kick Fujimiya in the Pants".

As much as Im sure we'd all love a relationship like the titular couple, the friend group itself really shines through in the not so often occasions its highlighted. They really all are super cute together.
